About Us

Brightstar Community is a registered 501c3 non-profit and has been helping women escape the sex industry in New York since 2020. We partner with women survivors of sex trafficking, abuse, and addiction to help them find healing, empowerment, and freedom. We do this by providing free housing, economic independence, and a community of advocates.

What makes us different?

We are the only two-year residential program in Monroe County that helps adult women affected by addiction and sexual exploitation. By providing free housing, we are creating a safe place for recovery where survivors can uncover their true and authentic self.
